Hello Parents! My name is Cathy Davis. I am a graduate of the University of Houston. Go Coogs! I have lived in the neighborhood for 26 years. This will be my 25th year teaching and my 21st year teaching at Colony Bend. I began teaching fifth grade in the Alief Independent School District, where I taught for four years. I then spent the next six years as a stay-at-home mom for my daughter. I returned to work when my daughter, who attended Colony Bend, was in 3rd grade. At Colony Bend, I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. Colony Bend truly feels like home to me!

My daughter, Abbey, is my pride and joy! She graduated from Texas A&M in 2019 and began her career as a Certified Financial Planner in Dallas. She married her husband, Zac, a year ago in May. They recently purchased a home on five acres about an hour north of Dallas. I currently have no grandchildren, but plenty of "grand pets". Abbey and Zac are the proud parents of two dogs, Dolly and Jolene, three cats, Willow, Wednesday, and Gypsy, and two horses, Sailor and Zoey. She is very successful in life and I attribute much of that to her education through the Fort Bend school district. 

I am looking forward to another fulfilling year teaching my inquisitive second-grade learners!
