My name is Celeste Bivins. Welcome to third grade at Colony Bend Elementary!  I began my teaching career in 2002. I have been at Colony Bend since 2011.  I enjoy teaching third graders math and science.  I have taught and learned from my general education and special education students in elementary and middle school.  I am immersed in education, as I am married to an educator who teaches middle school. We have two lovely daughters who attended Colony Bend and are now in high school and college.    

This year, I have several goals for myself and my students including keeping a positive and fun learning environment.  I encourage communication with my students and parents.  Colony Bend is where their educational foundation will be created.  I look forward to getting to know you and your child this year.
