Welcome to the library! I am the wonderful and enthusiastic librarian at Colony Bend Elementary! I started teaching in 2014, and took a break in 2019 to stay at home with my child, and while I stayed at home, I went back to get my masters degree in School Library Science. I graduated in 2021 and began my school librarian journey in 2022. Every year, I learn and grow as a librarian. My teaching experience includes teaching Kindergarten and First Grade, so my passion for reading starts with the earliest of readers! My goal for the library is to promote a safe and nurturing environment for our students to enjoy the library and reading for years to come.
