My name is Sally Parsons and I am a Special Education teacher and team leader at Colony Bend Elementary. This is my fifteenth year with Fort Bend ISD and my thirteenth year at Colony Bend, having spent two prior years at First Colony Middle School. In working with my special needs students, it is my mission to inspire and equip them with the knowledge and tools they need to achieve their goals and enjoy a future beyond anything they might be able to imagine.
I am a graduate of Texas A&M University and am certified to teach Special Education and English as a Second Language. Teaching is a second career for me as I spent more than 20 years in the business world prior to making the decision to teach. I love teaching and have never regretted that decision for one moment!
Aside from my students, the most important people in my life are my two boys... my youngest is a student at Texas A&M University and the eldest recently graduated from Texas A&M University. I am an avid college football fan who enjoys cheering on my Aggies at Kyle Field in the fall. Gig ‘Em! I also enjoy working in my yard and spending time with my family including my two rescue dogs, Sadie and Sam.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any questions or need assistance.
