This is my fourth year at Lexington Creek Elementary and I am the resource math and reading teacher for the 4th and 5th grades. I also support 5th grade students in science and social studies.
I graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Special Education. I am certified in special education EC-12 and general education grades 1-6. I have been in education for 23 years. I taught grades 6-8 for 15 years in the Houston Independent School District and worked as an ARD Facilitator for five years in a charter school district based in Dallas.
In my free time I enjoy attending sporting events with my family, reading, blogging and traveling. My passion for teaching stems from the idea that all students can learn and it is my desire to produce lifelong learners.
It is an honor to be a part of the Lexington Creek family and I am looking forward to an amazing school year!
