Welcome to Lakeview Elementary! I am thrilled to be a Lakeview Viking where our mission is to inspire hope, encourage responsibility, and equip our students to pursue excellence in academics, and character through creative problem solving.
I am a Texan born and raised. My husband and I have three beautiful children, Hayden, Ryan, and Kaylee. We are quite active in sports with my husband coaching at RPHS. We have three very spoiled dogs, a Lab mix named Buttercup, an Australian Ridgeback mix named Leo, and a Yorkie named Daisy.
My career in Fort Bend ISD started at Meadows Elementary as a teacher and a math specialist. I have also been an elementary math facilitator and assistant principal in Fort Bend. I received my bachelor degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from University of Houston-Victoria and my masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Houston. I proud to be principal at Lakeview Elementary. I look forward to visiting classrooms and seeing the children grow and learn every day.

Greetings! I am so happy to be a part of the Lakeview Elementary community and look forward to building lasting relationships with the students, staff, and community. There is so much history I share with this campus as my in-laws have both taught and attended the original Lakeview Elementary School and seen the community grow firsthand. I believe students learn best when they feel loved and respected first and that teachers are most effective when the relationships are put first. I want all our Vikings to reach their fullest potential through character building as well as earning educational success through innovation, collaboration, and meaningful experiences.
I was born in Mississippi and grew up in California. I moved to Texas as a senior and have loved living here because this is where I really learned who I was and what I wanted to do with my life. I met my wonderful husband who has a deep-rooted history in Sugar Land and was married in 2020. We have continued to grow together after our intimate COVID wedding and have adopted 2 very spoiled large dogs, Dixie and Sesi, and we love them dearly.
I began my educational journey by earning my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Woman’s University in Denton and completed my Masters in Educational Administration at Lamar University. I have been teaching since 2010, starting first with Pre-K in a private school in Katy. I have further built a background in elementary education in Aldine ISD, Alief ISD, and here in Fort Bend ISD. My time here in Fort Bend started at Hunters Glen Elementary where I moved from a 1st grade teacher during COVID to an English Learner Specialist of both the Elementary and ELC. I now look forward to seeing our growing Vikings and learning with them every day!
