Mrs. Megan Boler, Principal

Welcome to Lakeview Elementary! I am honored to join the Lakeview community as principal. I was born and raised in Davis, CA but my husband Michael is a native Houstonian. We have two amazing children, Madeleine and Matthew, and a cat named Otto. Our family loves to practice Brazilian Jujitsu, watch movies, and spend time with our large extended family.

I have over 15 years of experience in education and most recently served as the founding assistant principal of Alyssa Ferguson Elementary. In addition, I have been assistant principal at both Donald Leonetti Elementary and Hunters Glen Elementary, as well as Literacy Interventionist at Blue Ridge Elementary. Before joining FBISD, I taught 3rd Grade at P.S. 11 and 5th grade at P.S. 1 in New York City. My very first teaching assignment was at Pacific Northwest Academy, just outside of Portland, Oregon, where I taught 4th and 5th grade. I hold a BA in theatre arts from Lewis & College and a master’s in teaching from the University of Portland. I completed my principal certification at the University of St. Thomas, Houston.

I am looking forward to an amazing year at Lakeview Elementary where we foster a culture of excellence and inclusion, ensuring every student thrives.

Mrs. Jennifer Davis, Assistant Principal

Greetings! I am so happy to be a part of the Lakeview Elementary community and look forward to building lasting relationships with the students, staff, and community. There is so much history I share with this campus as my in-laws have both taught and attended the original Lakeview Elementary School and seen the community grow firsthand. I believe students learn best when they feel loved and respected first and that teachers are most effective when the relationships are put first. I want all our Vikings to reach their fullest potential through character building as well as earning educational success through innovation, collaboration, and meaningful experiences.

I was born in Mississippi and grew up in California. I moved to Texas as a senior and have loved living here because this is where I really learned who I was and what I wanted to do with my life. I met my wonderful husband who has a deep-rooted history in Sugar Land and was married in 2020. We have continued to grow together after our intimate COVID wedding and have adopted 2 very spoiled large dogs, Dixie and Sesi, and we love them dearly.

I began my educational journey by earning my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Woman’s University in Denton and completed my Masters in Educational Administration at Lamar University. I have been teaching since 2010, starting first with Pre-K in a private school in Katy. I have further built a background in elementary education in Aldine ISD, Alief ISD, and here in Fort Bend ISD. My time here in Fort Bend started at Hunters Glen Elementary where I moved from a 1st grade teacher during COVID to an English Learner Specialist of both the Elementary and ELC. I now look forward to seeing our growing Vikings and learning with them every day!
