A little about me...

I am a first-generation Mexican American and was born in Houston, Texas. I went to Galena Park High School in Galena Park ISD in East Houston. I graduated from Texas State University San Marcos with a Bachelor of Music Studies All level T. Cert EC-12, Cum Laude, in Spring 2020. Eat Em' Up! I've sung in professional choirs and still continue to do so around the Houston Area and nationally with the group "Just Music". I loved doing operas while in college and played a few leads during my time there. I also got to be one of the lead singers in the Texas States "Salsa Del Rio" salsa band. Those were the best and most fun times! I am a proud Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholar and received enough scholarships to get my Bachelor's. I've gotten the opportunity to sing the National Anthem for them two times. First, when I was 18, and sang for the opening of Willie Nelson back in 2016 at NRG Stadium. The second time, when I was 23, and sang for a Scholarship Fundraising event and ended up meeting 50 cent!

For fun, I love to read, meditate, go to live concerts and travel. I have two dogs named Loki and Winnie. Some of my favorite things... chocolate (all kinds) baby yoda, MARVEL, and music. In addition to teaching Music here at LVE, I am the 4th and 5th gd Choir sponsor and the Chess Club Sponsor.

I am very excited about being at Lakeview for my fifth year!
