A little about me...

I am a proud first-generation Mexican American, born and raised in Houston, Texas. After graduating from Galena Park High School in East Houston, I earned my Bachelor of Music Studies from Texas State University in San Marcos – Eat 'Em Up! I enjoy singing and performing in professional choirs around the Houston area, and when I’m not making music, you’ll probably find me at a live concert, traveling, or hanging out with my two dogs, Loki and Winnie. I’m a big fan of chocolate, Baby Yoda, and a good meal at Chili’s. Above all, I’m passionate about bringing people together through music and creating an uplifting atmosphere that positively impacts education and the community. Music is a universal language that helps us recognize ourselves and appreciate others, embracing the beautiful diversity of our world. Through teaching, I strive to give my students the opportunities, knowledge, and skills they need to become future leaders. My greatest hope is to touch lives through the power of music and to provide my students with a strong foundation for success, wherever their paths may lead.
