Hello everyone. I am Mrs. Haynes and I have the incredible honor of teaching Pre-Kindergarten this year!

I am married and have a four-year-old daughter. This is my seventh year in education, my third year as a Pre-K teacher and at Lakeview Elementary.

I was born and raised in Saint Lucia, which is an island in the West Indies (part of the Caribbean). I relocated to Texas in 2007 to attend college and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. I found my calling in teaching soon after. This is my third campus, and I love working here!

My heritage is African, Indian, Caucasian, and French Carib, but I identify as a Black West Indian. Some of my favorite things include spending time with my family, swimming in the ocean, eating mangoes, and traveling.
