My name is Ashley DeLay. This is my 7th year in public education and 2nd year at Lakeview Elementary as the CLaSS teacher. In my free time, I enjoy making memories with my friends and family, growing my plumeria collection, and watching the Astros, Rockets, and Texans. I live in Sugar Land with my three college-age children, my dog Rainy, and my cat Max.

I received my Bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. I grew up in Sugar Land and graduated from Kempner High School.

I believe that learning goes far beyond academics. Helping students grow into kind, confident and empathetic individuals is just as important. In the CLaSS program we focus on practicing self-awareness, building strong relationships and learning how to manage emotions in healthy ways. It is my goal to create a safe and supportive environment where every child feels seen, heard, and valued.
