This is Ebony Black’s second year at Missouri City Middle and tenth year with Fort Bend ISD, she is also a product of FBISD. Ms. Black began her journey as a thespian after her own days as a student at Christa McAuliffe and Willowridge. She has traveled the country to quench her thirst for all things theatre and has experienced the heartbeat of Broadway itself and just as notable OFF Broadway productions, in New York City.

Ms. Black returned to FBISD in 2015 as a Theatre Director to passionately share her knowledge and love of theatre. Through participation in class, competitions and productions, students build confidence and self-esteem as they see themselves and the world through theatre. She is grateful for the opportunity to work with students and daily witness their growth through performances from 6th-8th grade. She is thrilled to be a Cougar and looks forward to an awesome school year!

She holds a M.A. from Texas Tech and a Bachelors of Arts from Texas Southern University.
