I have a strong passion for education and have been teaching for over a decade. I began my journey in education through a magnet teaching program during high school, where I had the opportunity to student teach in a third-grade classroom during my senior year. I later attended Texas A&M University, where I continued to develop my instructional skills and completed student teaching experiences across multiple grade levels.

I have been a certified teacher for several years and have taught seventh grade since 2020. My teaching experience includes eighth-grade science, Digital Media (elective), and currently seventh-grade mathematics, which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I am dedicated to inspiring students to become creative thinkers and independent learners, and I strive to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment. 

The COVID years encouraged innovative approaches to online and blended learning, which I continue to incorporate into my classroom. I regularly use Schoology to post lessons, assignments, and additional study materials. This ensures that students who are absent can stay on track, while those who progress more quickly can extend their learning and further master key skills. Additionally, I maintain a YouTube channel where I post recorded lecture videos explaining lesson strategies. These videos, recorded through FBISD Stream and shared on YouTube, provide students and parents with flexible access to instructional support anytime, anywhere.
