Hello! Merhaba! Hola! Bonjour! Hallo! Namaste! Salaam! Ciao! Ne hau! Ola!
I’m Zeynep Ciftci, known as Mrs. Zee, I am the ESL teacher at Jan Schiff Elementary. I was born in the beautiful city of Istanbul, Turkey. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and have been living in Houston, Texas since 2002. I’ve been happily married for 16-years and have three beautiful children. When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, cooking, running and playing soccer.
I graduated with Early Childhood and Elementary Education degree from Kennesaw State University in Georgia. I started my teaching career at Houston ISD and taught 1st, 3rd and 4th grades before I took a break to stay at home with my kids. This is my fourth year at Schiff and I love being part of a great staff, wonderful students and awesome parents. Schiff is one of a kind and I’m proud to make a small contribution to your children’s lives.
