A Little About Me:

I have been at Lakeview since August 2023. I began as a Kindergarten Aide my first year, moved up to an IA (instructional apprentice) position last year while teaching, and have now attained a full teacher status going into my second year of teaching. I was born in Alabama, moved/raised partially in Louisiana, and then finished off my childhood and high school years here in Houston. I have mainly lived around the Richmond and Katy areas. Most of my family, however, still reside back in Louisiana. I love to spend quality time with friends and family, go to the movies, watch basketball, some hockey, play video games, and go outdoors. 

I am a fourth-grade science and social studies teacher. It is my passion and goal to provide your child with a safe space to be their best creative, positive, and goal-oriented selves to help prep them for the next grade and beyond.

My education:

In 2022, I earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Houston Downtown, with a minor in philosophy. Go Gators (and Coogs)! I am currently finishing up my certification program through Teachworthy in order to attain my completed teaching license in the state of Texas.
