Mrs. Karin Hansen

Hi! I am excited to be a part of Lakeview Elementary in Fort Bend ISD after working in a private school and three other districts over the course of my teaching career, beginning way back in 1984. I have taught prek, kinder, first, second, third, and fourth grade and have experience as a dyslexia interventionist and reading specialist. 

I am married and have three grown children and seven grandchildren. I also have a Havanese dog named Chloe who loves playing with my grandkids. I attended Iowa State University and completed my student teaching in Switzerland. Later, I attended the University of Houston while obtaining my Master's degree. 

I enjoy reading, walking and spending time with my family.
