Hello, I'm Mrs. Silva and I teach 1st Grade ELA. This is my fourth year at James Patterson Elementary and 7th year as an educator. I love being a part of this school family. I am very excited to be your child's 1st grade teacher!

I'm originally from San Antonio, TX where I was an early childhood educator before moving to Houston. My Husband and I are enjoying our time in our new city. We appreciate all the kindness and support we have experienced here and look forward to many more years in the Houston area.

This will be a fun and educational year for all your children and I cannot wait to share this 1st grade journey with all of you.
