Hello Parents and Pre-K Scholars,

I’m Mrs. Brown and I’m so excited to be part of the Burton Elementary Pre-K Team.  Last year was a challenging year for all of us, but we united to ensure that our students received the best education possible under the circumstances that we were dealt, and we prevailed!  I know this is going to be a great year filled with educational opportunities that will guide our scholar’s growth.  This is my third year teaching Pre-K.  I taught Pre-K for two years in HISD in which I was awarded Beginning Teacher of The Year for the 2019-2020 school year.  This will be my first-year teaching in Fort Bend ISD, and I am thrilled to start my new journey of teaching and learning with you and your student(s).  We are going to learn so many great things this year, and I am looking forward to every minute of it!  Most importantly, I want to encourage you to partner with me in supporting your student(s) to enhance their learning experience. Let’s make this a phenomenal year of teaching and learning!
