I am honored and humbled to be given the opportunity to be your child’s 1st grade teacher. We are going to do a lot of learning and have fun while doing it.

This is my 3rd year of teaching at Burton.  Before coming to Burton, I contracted with Alvin ISD to provide academic intervention for 6 years at Don Jeter Elementary.  I have 19 years of experience working with kids in a variety of settings from different backgrounds. 

I earned my Bachelors of Science in Administration with a minor in Sociology from Texas Southern University. I am currently certified in EC-6 Core Subjects and ESL EC-12.

I am a die hard Martial Arts movie collector and watcher (old and new) and I like waterfalls. During the school breaks we have movie night marathons and during the summer, I play tennis with my kids and we go swimming and to the park.
