With nearly twenty years of experience in education and a deep passion for all things math and science, I am excited to serve as the Math Interventionist at Burton. Over the years, I have taught Kindergarten through 8th grade in the Houston area. I have a Bachelors degree in Communication Disorders and Psychology, and a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction. My goal is to foster a positive and engaging learning environment where students can build confidence and develop essential math skills. I believe that with the right support and encouragement, every student can succeed in their mathematical journey. I look forward to collaborating with students, parents, and teachers to make math a rewarding experience for everyone! During my time away from school, I enjoy traveling, concerts, and empowering the community. I also love spending time with family, friends, and my pit bull named Smoke.
