Greetings!  My name is Mrs. Virginia Jerry and I am thrilled to say that I have been teaching in FBISD for twenty years.  I am elated to have your child in my classroom!  It is so rewarding to see a smile on a student’s face, especially when he or she has mastered a new concept or skill.  I am excited about the growth that your child will experience during their last year at Burton Elementary. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree from Southern University and a Master’s of Education from Texas Southern University.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, watching professional sports, and spending time with my family. I look forward to a successful and productive year working with you and your child.
