I am your enthusiastic Monolingual Dyslexia Teacher at Burton Elementary.  I have 40 plus years of teaching experience and I have enjoyed every moment.  I am a lifelong learner with a B.A. in  Elementary and Special Education and a M.Ed in Counseling.  I have worked in many capacities, from elementary to middle school teacher.   I have also worked as a gifted resource teacher, school counselor, teacher development specialist and currently, a dyslexia teacher.  

I believe reading is the foundation of all academics. As such, I look forward to working with your students as they develop a love for reading this school year.  I am always available to assist you and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
