Hello, my name is Nancy Espinoza and this year I am teaching 4th grade Bilingual-Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science, & Math.

Last year, I was in 3rd grade here at Burton. Prior to that, I taught 3rd grade for two years and first grade for three years. I was born and raised in Houston and graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6 (Bilingual). (Go Gators!) I've always wanted to be a teacher ever since I was a little girl teaching my younger brothers, so getting to do this makes me feel fulfilled. 

When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to baseball games (GO ASTROS!), going crabbing, cooking, and traveling. 

I look forward to new adventures with my 4th graders, as well as watching them grow across subjects.
