Hi Colony Bend Eagles! My name is James Ligon. I am so excited about the opportunity to serve as your Behavior Support Service Teacher. I began my teaching journey back in 2009. I have been teaching in Fort Bend ISD at Colony Bend Elementary since 2022.

I have over a decade of experience in implementing differentiated instruction and extensive work teaching students with socio-emotional behaviors and intellectual developmental disabilities. I was honored to have been selected as the 2023-24 Elementary Campus Teacher of the Year. 

I am happily married to my beautiful wife, Tramiesha. We both share a genuine love for education.  I believe that all teachers make all professions possible. I look forward to sharing my passion, knowledge, and expertise for education with every student at CBE.
