Welcome to Mrs. Canty’s 2^nd Grade class! My name is Ashley Canty and I am so excited to be your child’s second grade teacher.  We are going to have so much fun learning this year. I am looking forward to teaching Marvelous Math, Remarkable Reading, Wonderful Writing, Super Science, and Spectacular Social Studies. I am from Houston, Texas and I graduated from Hightower High School. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Southern University. GO TIGERS!!! This will be my 3^rd year teaching second grade. It is awesome! When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies, eating snacks like chips and cookies, and playing games such as Taboo and Pictionary. I cannot wait to watch each and every one of my scholars bloom this year and help them to reach all of their academic goals!!
