Greetings!! My name is Glendria Shanks and I am a 5th grade ELA/SS teacher here at Sienna Crossing Elementary. I am a product of FBISD and this is my 19th year being an educator in FBISD too!! Before joining the Navigator team, I have been a 5th-grade teacher and Reading Specialist/Dyslexia teacher. I graduated from Prairie View A & M University with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction(focus on Reading.) My daughter, Kendall, is a 10th grader attending a FBISD school. During my free time, I love to read, spend time with family and friends.
