The Coding and Robotics Club welcomes all eligible 4th and 5th grade students to apply. We will spend our time learning to code using Scratch and EV3 robots. The Spring will focus on programming our EV3's and animations in Scratch 3.0 for the district robotic challenge. More information to come, as we reveive the details next semester.
The SCE Coding and Robotics Club will meet after school on Tuesday's beginning October 22nd from 3:30-4:45. (10/29, 10/22, 11/19, 12/10, 12/17, 1/07, 1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/04, 2/11, 2/18, 2/25, 3/24, 3/31, 4/14, 4/28)
SCE Coding and Robotic Club will be available to a total of 25, 4th and 5th grade students. The application process will include 3 essay questions completed by the student, 2 teacher recommendations, and a Scratch project which will be completed at school. The Scratch project must be done at 7:30 a.m. in Ms. Walker's room. The exact date for applicants to come in and submit the Scratch project will be given after applications are processed. If your student qualifies to be a member of the SCE Coding and Robotics Club, he/she will receive a letter of acceptance in their Tuesday Folder by October 15th.
Applications are due to Ms. Walker no later than 3:30 p.m. on Monday, September 30th.
