I am from a long line of educators. My mom taught at our neighborhood school, and I often visited my grandmother while she worked at the district office. Teaching is in my blood and is my passion.

I grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana in the heart of Cajun country.  I enjoyed playing sports and traveling with my brother and parents.  We spent many Thanksgivings at Walt Disney World where I fell in love with Mickey Mouse and even enjoyed working on Main Street as part of the Disney College Program. 

I am married to my college sweetheart, John, and we have enjoyed living in Sienna for many years.  My boys attended SCE and we have wonderful memories of them being Navigators. John Michael is 22 and is working on a degree in mechanical engineering at UL-Lafayette.  My twins, Nick and Jake, are 18 and are starting college.

When I’m not at school, you can find me traveling to the beach, seeing a good movie, or watching my favorite sport, football.  My family enjoys camping and anything outdoors. Our boys love playing sports, and I love being in the stands cheering for their teams and those of my students.
