My name is Kristina Mott, and I am proud to be the math specialist at Sienna Crossing Elementary. This is my 22nd year of teaching. I have had the opportunity of being a classroom teacher of grades 1, 3, 4 and 5 and a math interventionist of grades K-5.
I was born and raised in the small town of Nederland, TX. Having always looked up to my teachers, I decided to pursue a degree in education. I received my bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Lamar University in Beaumont with a specialization in math and reading.
I am married to the love of my life, Simon. I am also blessed with a 19 year old daughter, Madison, who attends Texas State University and an 11 year old daughter, Gabrielle, who is in sixth grade at Ronald Thornton Middle School. I have three four-legged kids: Baxter the Chihuahua, Holly the Silky Terrier and Chester the Cat.
I am very happy to be a part of the Sienna community.
