I am currently teaching in my 26th year in education. Working with children and making a difference in their lives has always been a passion of mine. My 3rd grade teacher inspired me by being an awesome example. I attended U of H Clear Lake for my teaching degree. I have a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and am certified to teach pre-K through 6th grade. I have also obtained my ESL and GT certifications. Fort Bend ISD has been my teaching home for 22 years of my career, but I also taught in the Woodlands for Conroe ISD and in Kemah for Clear Creek ISD.

I am a mother of two awesome daughters that attend Texas State University and HCC. We live here in the neighborhood. I enjoy running and am a member of Sienna Running Club and F45.

One of my favorite quotes in education is “If children don’t learn the way we teach them, then we must teach them the way they learn.” I believe all children learn in different ways and as educators, we should meet them where they are and encourage them to get where they need to be. I am excited to work with your child this year and help them reach their potential.
