Greetings!! My name is Glendria Shanks, and I am a 5th grade ELA/SS teacher here at Sienna Crossing Elementary. I am a product of FBISD and this is my 23rd year being an educator in FBISD too!! Before joining the Navigator team, I have been a 5th-grade teacher and Reading Specialist/Dyslexia teacher. I graduated from Prairie View A & M University with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction(focusing on Reading.) I am mother to one daughter. Her name is Kendall. She will begin her second year in college this fall. During my free time, I love to read, shop, & spend time with family/friends.
