Gifted and Talented at Meadows Elementary

Identified students in grades K-5 are cluster grouped with GT-trained teachers in the core subject areas of English language arts, social studies, science, and mathematics. Program services for identified Kindergarten students begin March 1 as mandated by the state.
Innovation Hour
We are very pleased to be an Innovation Hour campus for the 2023-2024 school year. All GT-identified second through fourth graders will participate in Innovation Hour during intervention and enrichment time in the school schedule. Parents of identified students have received a detailed parent guide to assist them in understanding this program.

FBISD family series challenge: Lights, Camera, Create!
The "Lights, Camera, Create" challenge promotes critical thinking and problem solving skills. Gifted students will extend their learning and use their imagination to create a self-selected product. To learn more, click the flyer link above.

- Students who are not identified for gifted and talented services in FBISD in any content area.
