Ms. Melissa Watts

Welcome to second grade! I will be teaching math and science. This is my second year as a Madden Husky.

I have lived in Texas most of my life. I graduated from Abilene Christian University. I have taught many different subjects and grade levels in my nineteen years of teaching. I have taught all over Texas as well as in China for 5 years. 

I am a proud aunt of three nieces and one nephew. Spending time and supporting them in all their extracurricular activities keeps me busy. 

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, shopping, watching movies, listening to music, dancing, and being crafty. We currently have 6 pigs, 2 piglets, 3 peacocks, 2 goats, 4 guineas, 1 momma cat with 3 kittens, and 2 dogs on the farm, so that keeps me busy as well.

What can parents do to help you the most?: Make sure the kids are getting a good night's rest and a good breakfast. Send snacks with the kids as we have a snack time during the day.
