Mrs. Constance Ellison
Welcome Huskies!
My name is Constance Ellison. I am the School Counselor at Carolyn and Vernon Madden Elementary. I am so excited to be at Madden Elementary!! As the school counselor, my primary responsibility is to promote the social/emotional and academic development of all students, to ensure they are successful in school and the community, to provide a warm, safe environment and facilitate coping skills needed for everyday life. I will provide support to students individually, in small groups, and via classroom guidance lessons. I am looking forward to an exciting school year.
In my educational career I have taught grades first, second, and third. As a counselor, at Madden, I have the joy of working with grades Pre-K - 5th. I have three children of my own; two daughters and a son, a wonderful husband and a very energetic dog. 🙂 As a family, we love to travel and go on exciting excursions. I attended the University of Houston and received my Masters Degree from Houston Baptist University.
Students can access the school counselor through a self referral, teacher referral, parent referral, or an administrative or other staff referral.
Please contact me anytime if you have questions or concerns...I am here to help and assist you in any way I can.
Best Regards,
Constance Ellison
