Welcome to CLaSS (Communication, Language, and Social Skills)!
My name is Zoey Fuqua, and I am honored to be part of the Madden family. This will be my 6th year in education, with a focus on supporting students with behavioral needs, and my 4th year as a CLaSS teacher at Madden. I absolutely love this campus and our dedicated staff, and I’m beyond excited about the year ahead—especially building strong relationships with both students and families in our community.

I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Teaching and Learning, along with a minor in Kinesiology.

In my free time, I enjoy dancing, singing, and drawing. I also love spending time with my family playing cards and board games. At home, I have a spoiled cat—and now a spoiled dog—who both keep life fun and full of personality!

My favorite aspect of teaching is seeing students grow and thrive in a safe, structured environment. I’m proud of the progress students make in our program. I love watching them gain the confidence to speak up, embrace challenges, and achieve their full potential. When students productively struggle, it means they’re making meaningful connections and building knowledge that will support them far beyond the classroom.
