Hi! I am so excited for the 2024-2025 school year! I am from Houston, Texas, and I grew up in Cy-Fair ISD where I proudly taught ELAR/SS in a Title I school for the first few years of my teaching journey. In 2019, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development. In Spring 2024, I earned a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston. My certifications include early childhood to 6th grade, ESL, and principalship. In November 2022, my husband and I got married, and we have a rescue cat named Pico. In our free time, we enjoy camping, hiking, and exploring new places!  

Teaching fourth-grade math/science is my jam! I absolutely love what I get to do each day and want each child to feel welcomed, loved, and capable of great things! Our classroom is a student-centered community where children overcome obstacles and learn from their mistakes. However, the classroom community is not just between students and teachers but also includes parents and family members. The growth children can make in a school year is limitless when teachers and families partner together. I am so ready to work with you, learn from your children, and have another awesome year at Madden!
