Welcome!

Hello! My name is Courtney Mansaray, and I am so excited to be your child’s 3rd grade Reading, Writing, and Social Studies teacher this school year. Teaching is my passion, and I feel truly grateful to be part of a school community that values curiosity, creativity, and growth.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston–Downtown and my Master’s degree from Southern New Hampshire University. These experiences have shaped my commitment to creating a classroom where students feel encouraged, challenged, and celebrated for who they are.

In our class, we’ll explore the power of reading and writing to understand the world and express our ideas, and we’ll dive into social studies to learn about communities, history, and how we can make a difference. My goal is to help every student grow not just academically, but also in confidence and character.

When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and journaling.
