"The Legacy" is the award-winning, student-produced yearbook of George Bush High School.  The Yearbook Staff is comprised of students enrolled in Yearbook I, II, III, and Independent Studies classes.  All Yearbook Staff members from the various classes meet together every other Monday after school.  Of course, Yearbook Staff members are active after school many days of the week; they are frequently at school events to take photos and conduct interviews.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Why is a student’s portrait not in the yearbook?

Students may not be in the yearbook for various reasons, including the following:

    1. The student did not take their school portrait for the yearbook. It is the student’s responsibility to take their photo.

    2. The student did not take their senior portrait or did not take it before the deadline. All of the senior portrait companies have deadlines, and after the deadline passes, they do not share any additional senior portraits with the school. It is the student’s and parent’s responsibility to take the portrait before the deadline.

    3. The student’s parents did not give the school permission to include their portrait in the yearbook. As per FBISD policy, parents must give permission when they complete the forms in Skyward at the beginning of the school year.

We have no control over if (and when) a student takes their portrait and/or if their parent gives permission for their portrait to be included.
