Hello everyone,

My name is Krista Strowd, better known as Ms. S to my students. I have the honor of teaching your children 4th grade this year in all subject areas. I am sure you would appreciate knowing a little background information about myself. I graduated from University of Houston main campus in August 2021, obtaining a degree in general education. This will be the 4th year of teaching at Austin Parkway Elementary. I am a mother of 2 highly energetic boys (15 and 10 years old). My youngest attends APE as well. We are basketball fans! When I am not at work, my children and I like to be outdoors (when it is not ridiculously hot) doing all kinds of activities, from fishing, gardening, to swimming at the local pool. 

 I plan on absorbing as much information as I can that will contribute to the personal growth I desire as a teacher. Thank you for putting your trust in me with your children. I aim to strive daily to be the best possible teacher and role model that I know how to be.
