My name is Kai-Wen Lin. It is my honor to be a member of APE family. I was born and grew up in Taiwan. I attended National Changhua University of Education and had been teaching in middle school for 3 years. I came to the USA to pursue my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction at UTSA. Everything I am involved in is related to education. I love teaching and learning with students, and I love to make progress with them every day.

My husband, Simon, and I have two adorable children, Scarlett and Edward. We love reading, drawing, and playing with them. Traveling, especially visiting national parks and museums, is one of our favorite things to do together. These years, we had several road trips. We visited Grand Canyon National Park, Arkansas, and Florida. We even drove all the way to Key West, the most southern point of the USA. Exploring the world allows us to love each other and the earth much more. We hope our children can respect and protect the environment as their lifelong mission. 

I am thrilled to meet my 4th grade sailors. Let us have a wonderful school year together!
