My name is Gina Voraritskul, and I am the Literacy Intervention Teacher at Austin Parkway Elementary. I work with students and teachers from kindergarten to fifth grade, focusing on improving their reading and writing skills. I have a strong affection for the close-knit community at Austin Parkway Elementary. With 26 years of teaching experience, I earned my Bachelor's degree from Lee University in Cleveland, TN, and completed my Master’s degree at the State University of West Georgia. I have taught in various regions, including Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, and Thailand, and have dedicated 16 years to FBISD, with 11 years specifically at Austin Parkway as a Literacy Specialist. I find joy in discovering new places, particularly beaches and mountains. I also enjoy reading, music, and cooking. Above all, spending time with my beloved son, Ellis, is my favorite activity. As the campus’ Literacy Interventionist, I am excited to work with students and educators, striving to foster a love for literacy in all. I look forward to sharing my passion for reading and writing with the students and educators here at Austin Parkway Elementary. I believe that each day presents new experiences, and I am eager to create lasting memories and learning opportunities together!
