Welcome to First grade!!!

I am very excited about being your child's 1st grade Math and Science teacher this year! I have been with the APE family since 2018, teaching 3rd and 1st grade Math and Science. I aim to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where every student feels inspired and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our classroom will be a place where curiosity is nurtured, questions are welcomed, and learning is an adventure.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and an MBA in Marketing from the University of St. Thomas in Houston. I live with my husband, Roy, and 4 daughters in Sugarland. I have a college Sophomore, a High schooler, a Middle schooler and a Preschooler.

My hobbies are baking, cake decorating, oil and acrylic painting, gardening and just being silly with my girls!
