My name is Mrs. Preston and I am happy to be a member of Settlers Way Elementary! I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Deaf Education from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2015 and I am currently pursuing a Master of Interdisciplinary Studies with direct focus on Mass Communication, Public Administration, and Psychology. I have deaf family members and I am passionate about advocacy and high expectations!

I have had the opportunity to provide teaching and interpreting services to DHH children in 37 different schools across Texas, as well as homebound and Early Childhood Intervention children who require uniquely individualized educational support. Working in the educational field has allowed me to build a variety of skill sets to ensure that DHH children are provided the best services possible. I’m truly grateful to have the responsibility to positively impact DHH education!
