I started teaching in Fort Bend ISD during the 1999-2000 school year. I moved to Brazos Bend Elementary in 2004. 
 
As a child, I would line up my dolls and teach them how to read and add numbers.  Teaching is so much more than my profession. It is my passion.  I enjoy watching my students each day make progress towards their goals.  I enjoy watching them grow and mature as the year goes on.

I was born in Huntington, West Virginia. My family moved to Texas when I was six years old. I graduated from Elkins High School. I went on to graduate from the University of Houston. 

My husband and I got married in 1997. We have one son who was born in April 2005. We have one daughter that was born in October 2013. We have a few fish, one tortoise and one small turtle. 

We like the outdoors, and enjoy walking on the beach, finding seashells. We enjoy going to the zoo or the park on sunny days. We also love to read books and watch movies.
