Mrs. Stephanie Viado

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year. This is my seventh year as the assistant principal at Brazos Bend Elementary and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the parents, students, and the community.  I am looking forward to a successful and productive year where I can support all students, parents, staff, and community stakeholders in order to ensure all student are inspired to reach their full potential.  As an instructional leader, I will work closely with the staff and support Mrs. Durham to make sure your child is equipped to pursue futures beyond what they can imagine!

I was born in Northern California and moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where I received my Bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Louisiana State University. I taught in East Baton Rouge Parish for three years before moving to Texas and joining Fort Bend ISD in 2002, where I taught first grade, reading recovery, and fourth grade for 10 years. I received my Master’s degree in administration in 2009 from Concordia University.  This is my 19th year in education and I am still as passionate about students as I was when I walked into my first classroom in 1999.  I am excited for the school year and look forward to working with you.  Go Bullfrogs!
