It is an honor to introduce myself as the principal of James C. Neill Elementary School and to be a member of this extraordinary community.  With a passion for education that spans over two decades, I have dedicated my career to shaping young minds and fostering academic growth. I started my journey in 2002 as a classroom teacher, where I honed my instructional skills and connected with students on a daily basis. Over the years, I also served as a specialist, utilizing my expertise to provide targeted support to English Language Learners. In 2016, I took on a new role as an assistant principal, embracing the opportunity to make a broader impact on the school community. Since 2019, I have proudly served as a campus principal, leading with a focus on excellence, collaboration, and student-centered education. It is my unwavering commitment to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that empowers students to reach their full potential.

At James C. Neill Elementary School, we believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals who not only excel academically but also possess strong character traits and a deep sense of empathy. Our goal is to empower students to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, and lifelong learners. We strive to cultivate their creativity, resilience, and adaptability, preparing them to thrive in an ever-changing world. Through a comprehensive and inclusive educational experience, we foster a love for learning, encourage collaboration, and promote a growth mindset. We envision students who embrace diversity, demonstrate kindness, and actively contribute to their communities.

At Neill Elementary, we are dedicated to cultivating Longhorn PRIDE; where all are equipped to "Persevere with Respect, integrity, and a Determination for Excellence." Through our unwavering commitment to these core values, we strive to inspire and empower our students to reach their highest potential and make a positive difference in the world.

I am honored to serve as an Assistant Principal for James C. Neill Elementary School. It is truly a privilege to be part of a community where families, students, faculty and staff care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth.  I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than twenty years.  I have worked with a variety of students ranging in age from Pre-Kindergarten through high school. My educational belief is that the school community collaboratively work together to support growth and learning. The students are the most important members of a school community in that all of what we do is for their current learning and future endeavors. My specific belief is that with love, service, and care, we, as a school community, work collaboratively to develop futures for all students beyond what they can imagine. It’s the Neill way!

My name is Natacha Isaac Bonaventure. I am excited to serve as one of the assistant principals here at James C. Neill Elementary. Some facts about me are that I am a native New Yorker. I have a beautiful daughter, Bianca, who is my pride and joy! My educational path led me to obtain my bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Florida Atlantic University. I later pursued my master’s in educational leadership at the University of St. Thomas. I have been an educator for over 30 years. I have taught many grades from pre-k through 8th grade. I started my career in FBISD as a literacy interventionist and then became the proud assistant principal of Cornerstone Elementary in 2019 where I have been until the 2023-2024 school year.  I am beyond thrilled  to join the JNE team and show my Longhorn Pride!

A few of my core beliefs are that education and learning is something that never stops.  I am always learning and am committed to helping every scholar become a better version of themselves.  I believe my role as your assistant principal is to impart the love of knowledge, perseverance, respect, integrity, determination, and excellence, so students will be able to pursue futures beyond what they can imagine.
