I'm so excited to be joining the JNE family this year as a 4th grade math and science teacher.  I'm grateful for the warm welcome I have received from the staff and the community.  The positive school culture here is outstanding. 

I earned my BS in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston - Victoria and I have been a Texas math and science educator for 16 years. I have previously taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades and have enjoyed each of them for different reasons.  I love connecting with my students and their families to partner in having the best year yet. 

I have lived in Richmond for the last 7 years with my husband, Kevin, and our Aussie, Roscoe. I have one son, Kyle, who is currently attending grad school at Duke University in North Carolina. We enjoy living in this area very much and we are excited by the growth we see around us. In my free time, I enjoy shopping, movies, camping, crafting, and traveling.
