Welcome Neill Longhorns! I have known since I was a little girl that I wanted to be a teacher. Teaching, helping and inspiring young minds is my passion.
I’m so looking forward to learning and growing together this year with my new 3rd Grade grade Longhorns.
For the past 15 years, I have taught in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD for Fifth Grade, Fourth Grade, Second Grade, and Math Interventionist. This will be my 4th year teaching at Neill Elementary.
One of my passions, along with teaching, is volunteering at Texas Lions Camp, in Kerrville. For 10 summers, I served as a Diabetes medical assistant, monitoring blood sugars and administering shots.
Also, I am a Life Member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo where I have volunteered since 2013. My first year I was awarded Committeeman of the Year and Rookie of the Year. I love working for such a great organization because of their heavy influence on education.
I currently live in Richmond with my wonderful husband and 2 amazing daughters, Ashlyn, 9, and Kaleigh, 5. When I’m not working, you will find me spending quality time with my family.
I am looking forward to a FANTASTIC year! Go Longhorns!
