Hello, my name is Mrs. Cress, and I cannot wait to be your 4th grade teacher! You may have known me last year as Ms. Marr. I have thirteen years experience in education, in both public and private sectors. This is my second year at Oakland Elementary teaching 4th grade Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies. 

I truly love teaching  my subjects, and I love my students even more!  4th grade is soooooo much fun!   Building relationships with my students is one of my favorite parts of teaching.  I believe in inspiring my students to pursue a love learning and to accomplish their goals using their full potential.  Providing my students with an inviting and robust learning environment is something I am very proud of.
