Greetings Sailors and Austin Parkway community!

It is my priviledge to serve as the proud the principal of Austin Parkway Elementary, home of the sailors!  The 2023-2024 school year begins my twenty-fifth year in Fort Bend ISD.  After serving as an air traffic controller in the Air Force, I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masters of Education in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston.  Go Coogs!  Prior to becoming a principal, my educational experience include teaching, reading and Title I specialist, and assistant principal.

My husband and I recently celebrated our twenty-fifth anniversary!  We have four beautiful daugthers who are each unique in their own special way.  I have the same expectations for them as I have for your children.  I want them to excel in life, to have the the skills, and many opportunities to become productive human beings.

I am honored to serve the students and staff at Austin Parkway Elementary.  My goal is to continue to buld relationships while providing a supportive culture and climate that will encourage each student and staff member to show growth and reach their full potential.  I look forward to working with all stakeholders of the Austin Parkway community.  Austin Parkway's theme for the 2023-2024 school year is "One Goal, One Team, One Family!"  Let's show some sailor pride and have a fantastic 2023-2024 school year!  Go Sailors!

Kind regards,

Audrey Macklin

Ms. Cindy Kirkpatrick

It is my privilege to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal of Austin Parkway Elementary. This school year will be my 24th year in Fort Bend ISD. I have served as an assistant principal for the last six years. Prior to that, I was an elementary classroom teacher for eighteen years. I have had the privilege of teaching second, third, and fourth grades. I will always be a teacher at heart!

I am excited to serve alongside Mrs. Macklin to lead the many talented teachers and students. My goal is to continue to provide a safe, supportive, and challenging environment in which all students can thrive. I am looking forward to working with parents, students, and the APE community to make this a successful school year as we are “Charting the Course”.
