Hi!!! I'm Kimberly Curtis. I have almost 20 years of teaching in SPED, with 18 years in extreme behavior. This is my first full year teaching at Pecan Grove Elementary. Previously, I have taught elementary, middle, and high school Alternative Curriculum or Life Skills, and Adaptive Behavior or BSS with HCDE and the Fort Bend ISD STEP Program. I was born in Washington, DC; however, I was raised in DC and Texas. I attended Prairie View A & M University, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counseling. I am the proud mother of a son and daughter who both attend Fort Bend Schools. I am a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and a member of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc., Alpha Kappa Chapter. My time here at Pecan Grove has definitely been rewarding. I look forward to watching the continued progress made by each of my students.
