Howdy!  I am a proud Texas Aggie who has been teaching for over 30 years.  I love working with kids and being a part of their lives.  There is nothing as exciting as watching a student suddenly understand a difficult concept that they have been struggling with!  I have taught 1^st through 5^th grade (all subjects) and have enjoyed all of them.  Most definitely my favorite subject to teach is reading.  Introducing a child to the joy of getting lost in a good book is a thrill!
